Third deep-sea internet cable cut. Israel, Iraq still online.

If I were deeply suspicious like the folks over at Prison Planet, I might think the fact that three major internet cables affecting the Middle East and Asia cut in four days was hardly a coincidence. It seems very odd but officials claim that nothing is amiss, the cables were cut by dragging anchors, go back to watching American Idol. Interesting map of undersea cables here.

Update: Despite the conspiracy theories being bandied about the internet, Iranian internet is working just fine.
